We at High & Main Productions are seeking a director for our third community theatre
production, which will take place in Fall of 2026.
As an English-speaking non-profit theatre company in Vankleek Hill, we believe in
equality, diversity, and inclusivity (EDI) in theatre, and strive to create opportunities for
local artists and communities.
We would like to see a play proposal from a non-union director that:

 Matches our organization’s principles and community goals
 Is feasible in our given production budget
 Captures the hearts and souls of our community audience
We seek directors who have a vision, organizational skills, and a team spirit in working
in community theatre.
What We Offer:
A set production budget (will be disclosed to shortlisted directors)
Support from Board members and volunteers
Venue booking and logistics
Marketing and promotions

Timeline:
Submission Deadline: May 30th 2026
Director Selected: by June 30th 2026
 Production Period: Fall 2026

Please note: While we acknowledge the scale of the job and the value you bring, we
are not yet in a position to offer an honorarium at this time. This is a volunteer
endeavour.
